Sunil D. Bagde,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.1.00112.]

This paper is concerned an exact analytical solution is obtained that reveals some phenomena of the dynamic focusing effect of piezoelectric fiber-reinforced laminated composites subjected to thermal shock. From analytical expressions obtained, it is seen that the dynamic focusing effect is dependent on the material properties of the reinforced fiber and matrix layer. In the numerical result presented, it is seen that maximum response peak values of the dynamic stress in the PZT-4/Matrix laminated composite systems occur near the center of the Piezoelectric fiber; this is called the dynamic focusing effect is induced by electro thermo elastic waves colliding with each other and arrives at a constant at the center of the laminated composite system, continuously accumulating at near the center of the solid fiber. Finally the dynamic focusing effects in the piezoelectric fiber reinforced composite system are discussed and some mechanisms of thermo electro wave focusing effect in the laminated composite system under thermal shock are indicated.

YAO Jian-wen, Ma Chen-hao , Bu Mei and Hu Jing-hui,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.1.01320.]

During the car following, the change of the movement state of the leading car can cause the driver of the following car to make the corresponding driving behavior. In order to simulate these driving behaviors more realistically, this paper adopts the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) algorithm with the advantages of high learning efficiency, strong generalization ability, and not easy to fall into local minimizer. The Improved Particle Swarm Optimization (IPSO) algorithm is used to search the global optimal solution optimization weights, thresholds and number of hidden layer nodes, and a car-following model based on improved Particle Swarm Optimization Extreme Learning Machine (IPSO-ELM) is proposed. , The car-following data provided by NGSIM is selected to do simulation verification of the model by MATLAB software, the error of the model on the test set is compared by 10-fold cross-validation method, and the superiority of IPSO algorithm to search for the optimal number of hidden layer nodes is verified. The prediction results are compared with the Back Propagation (BP) neural network model and the traditional limit learning machine model. Finally, through the comparative analysis of the three commonly used statistical indicators, it is proved that the IPSO-ELM model has small prediction error and strong generalization ability. It can be applied to the construction of car-following model better.

Xiaotian Ma, Xiaoqing Sang, Yehui Sun, Xiaotong Gong, Shanshang Gao, Guoxin Jiang, Yi Xu, Derong Tan,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.1.04359.]

This paper proposes a vehicle driving behavior prediction model, which predicts the driving behavior of vehicles around the smart car, which can provide real-time and reasonable reference for the smart car to drive, which helps the smart car to make correct driving decisions. In this paper, the driving behavior of urban roads and the driving behavior of intersections are studied. The driving behavior prediction model of vehicles is established based on NGSIM real traffic dataset and Gaussian implicit hybrid Markov model (GMM-HMM). Firstly, the vehicle trajectory data of NGSIM real traffic dataset is analyzed and selected to obtain reasonable and effective vehicle trajectory data. Then the algorithm of Support Vector Machine is used to select the input features of the prediction model. Finally, the Gaussian mixture hidden Markov model is used as the classification. The driving behavior prediction model is established and the simulation experiment is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the prediction model.

Simulation of the cyclic bending response for 6061-T6 aluminum round-hole tubes

Kuo-Long Lee and Wen-Fung Pan,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.1.06573.]

In this paper, the simulation of the response for 6061-T6 aluminum alloy round-hole tubes with different hole diameters of 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm subjected to cyclic bending is studied. The experimental results tested by Lee et al.[1] were employed in this study. It can be seen that the moment-curvature relationships showed a closed and stable loop from the first bending cycle. The hole diameters have very small influence on the loop shape. But, the ovalization-curvature relationships depicted an asymmetrical, ratcheting, and bow trend. The hole diameter revealed a strong influence on this relationship. Furthermore, higher hole diameters caused larger tube’s ovalizations. Finally, the finite element software ANSYS was employed to analyze the moment-curvature and ovalization-curvature relationships. Through comparison with the experimental data, the ANSYS could properly simulate the experimental findings.

Xing Zhaomin, Zhao Xinhao, Guo Aixin, Zhi Yingchong and Zhao Jinbao,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.1.07479.]

In recent years, with the rapid development of China's transportation, urban rail transit has become more and more a means of transportation to share a large volume of traffic. At the same time, the connection modes of rail transit are becoming more and more diverse. However, with the rapid development of intelligent transportation, didi chuxing stands out. The combination of the two can not only save travel time, but also improve travel speed. The effective connection between rail transit and didi chuxing is influenced by many potential factors, among which the type of land use as the source and destination will have a huge impact on the travel motivation. This thesis with orbit traffic of Chengdu and drabs travel big data as the research object, through clustering analysis of rail transit site first divided into residential, commercial, entertainment, schools and hospitals, five main land use types and then drops travel big data filtering, get the site around 200 m within the scope of the travel data and carries on the depth of mining, different land use types hop on and off the site in the morning and evening peak.

Dalong Li, Jianmei Li, Xiaowei Wu, Haotian Chen, Zhaozhao Ma, Shuang Zhu;[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.1.08091.]

In recent years, in recent years, with the rapid development of transportation, people pay more and more attention to the public transport priority policy. But all the advanced TSP systems were developed under the context of one isolated intersection. This paper develop an adaptive control algorithm for signals tailored to real-time private and public transportation demands. The results show that the proposed bus priority strategy is much more efficient than that simply managing green times as buses approach intersections. The validity of the model is verified by an example analysis and VISSIM simulation. It is demonstrated with case studies that, implementing a pre-signal with the proposed adaptive control algorithm will result in the least average person delay at the intersection.  ">

Analyzing Electrocardiograph (ECG) using Signal Processing Technique.

Amadi, W. Mirabel and, Kabari, G. Ledisi,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.1.10010]

Many cardiac anomalies such as poor blood transmission to the heart, structural deformities and heartbeat are being stalked using Electrocardiograph (ECG) signals. An Electrocardiograph is a graph recorded to show the electric potential fluctuations that takes place when electrodes are placed on a patient’s chest, to demonstrate cardiac activities. The action prospective produced by contractions of the heart wall spreads electrical currents from the heart throughout the body. These spreading electrical currents create different potentials at different points in the body, thus are sensed by electrodes placed on the skin. However, this research focus is to analyze Electrocardiograph (ECG) using signal processing techniques. Potential spots in the body with deposits of electric current are identified using experimentation analysis where a binary electrical detector “Spot/No Spot”, with Spot corresponding to a 1 and No Spot corresponding to a 0, is utilized. A database is created to record and store the spotted ECG, which are displayed graphically using Microsoft Excel Software and the signals are analyzed and compared with related works.
